Skin Cancer
Skin cancer reconstruction is ideal for patients who are having a cancerous lesion removed. Skin cancer removal typically results in a gap or wound in the skin. With skin reconstruction, the appearance of the area can be restored to a more natural look, blending in with the surrounding skin.
A variety of techniques and methods can be used in the skin cancer reconstruction process. Skin grafts, local flaps, and fat grafting are all common options for restoration of the look of the arms, face, and other parts of the body.
